First Win of the Season

Thank you to everyone that came out to support us last night at the 2nd Annual Maroon and Gold Meet-the-Team Night.  It was a big success.

Our first games of the season will be against Timpview on Wednesday, November 24th.  The games will be played at UVU:

JV at 8:30am (Activity Center--next to the McKay Events Center)
Sophomores at 10:15am (Activity Center)
Varsity at 12:00 noon (McKay Events Center)

Parent's Night & Maroon and Gold Game

Tonight at 6pm we will have a Parent's Night with all players and at least one of their parents.

On Thursday, we will have our 2nd Annual Maroon and Gold Meet-the-Team Night starting at 7pm.  Everyone is invited to attend this fun evening.

Tryouts and Physicals

Tryouts will start Monday, November 8, at 3:00pm.  


Attention! All athletes trying out for winter sports need to see Patty Fahringer in the athletic training room prior to the first day of tryouts to turn in paperwork and get an ATHLETIC CLEARANCE FORM. In order to TRYOUT for ANY sport this year, new rules state that athletes must have a current physical on file with the athletic office before the tryout. If a physical is not received by Patty Fahringer you will not be able to try out. We no longer accept an "A" or "B" form, so make sure you stop by the front office to pick up the new physical paperwork. A school physical will be offered November 3 at 6:00pm for $20.  

Basketball Mini Camp

On November 3rd and 4th, Maple Mountain will be hosting a Basketball Mini Camp for ages 2nd grade to 8th grade.  This will be a kickoff to the upcoming basketball season.  The high school coaches and players will be teaching basketball fundamentals.  There will be games and contests too.  Each kid will receive a Maple Mountain basketball t-shirt.  This shirt will allow him/her to get into the Maple Mountain basketball home games for free during the upcoming year.  The camp times are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm each night.  The cost is $20.00.
